SUMMARY:
Responsible for the maintenance, transportation and delivery of beer, liquor and wine inventory to all service locations.  Sets up and tears down all conference functions. Receives deliveries to the loading dock. Maintains stock and keeps beverage, banquet and storage areas organized. Handles potentially hazardous chemicals for cleaning purposes.
        
EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • TAM certification or must obtain within 90 days of employment
  • ServSafe Food Handler certification or must obtain within 90 days of employment
  • Back Safety, Chemical Safety/Usage Training or must obtain within 90 days of employment 
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service and be able to work cooperatively with all departments
  • Strong organizational skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong reading comprehension skills and be able to read BEO’s and floor plans and execute independently
  • Accurate and detail-oriented, have strong problem solving skills and the ability to count
  • Maintain high confidentiality
  • Independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to maintain and anticipate stocking needs for fast paced outlet           
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to communicate using written and verbal methods.  Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods in excess of 4 hours.  Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.  Must have a good sense of balance and be able to bend and kneel.  Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects.  Must be able to climb an 8 foot ladder.  Must have the ability to independently lift up to ­75 pounds routinely and be able to operate hand truck to push/pull loads of up to 200 pounds. Must have manual dexterity necessary to manipulate departmental equipment.
