Works vending carts, including cashiering, as needed.  Also works the popcorn machine and maintains self serve beverage stations during shift.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • ServSafe Food Handler certification or must obtain within 90 days of employment
  • TAM Certification or must obtain within 90 days of employment 
  • Strong organizational skills and customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Accurate and detail-oriented and have strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to calculate basic math and count both currency and coin
  • Ability to maintain high confidentiality and the ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and the ability to work cooperatively with all departments
  • Neat in appearance and able to answer questions and give information to customers and employees in a professional, friendly manner
  • Ability to operate computer point of sale system 
  1. Works vending carts including cashiering.
  2. Accountable for balancing pouch with cash drawer withdrawal and receipts.
  3. Makes and dispenses popcorn in the popcorn machine.
  4. Cleans the machine as required.
  5. Maintains self service beverage stations.
  6. Performs daily work assignments as requested.
  7. Must obtain and maintain Serv Safe and TAM certification.
  8. Must attend all trainings designated by the Food and Beverage Department.
  9. Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Little River Casino Resort and of the Food and Beverage department. 
Must be able to communicate using written, verbal and computer methods.  Must be able to operate POS equipment for extended periods of time.  Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods in excess of 4 hours.  Must be able to walk, sit, and/or stand for long periods of time.  Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects.  Must have the ability to independently lift up to 25 pounds routinely.  Must have manual dexterity necessary to manipulate food service equipment. 
Office, gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke.  Extensive computer use.  Must be flexible with work schedule.  Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs.  Occasional overtime required.  Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals.  High volume direct public contact.

A high school diploma or GED is not required for this position at the present time.  However, candidates wishing to transfer to a position which requires a high school diploma or GED must possess certification and provide verification at time of application. 
All Little River Casino Resort employees are responsible to ensure that their designated operations are in compliance with Little River Casino Resort policies and Tribal gaming regulations.
Conditions of employment with Little River Casino Resort include passing a pre-employment drug test, a background investigation to secure a gaming license and successfully completing a three-month introductory period.  Candidates for this position will be required to have dependable transportation available to them without notice.  Must also maintain Serv Safe and TAM certification throughout your time of employment with the Little River Casino Resort.  Individual must not have been charged or released from employment or involved in anything which could be considered a liability to the Resort, e.g. harassment, theft, violence, or integrity issues.
