Job Description



The Manistee County Sheriff’s Office has a vacancy for the position of Corrections Officer effective with the publication of this notice.


Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.

  • Valid Michigan Drivers License.  

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Two year Associate Degree with major in Corrections preferred, but not required.

  • Complete a Local Corrections Officer Physical Ability Test (LCOPAT)
