Event Description:
Yarrow Brown, conservation easement program manager for Leelanau Conservancy, and Joe Sanok, Traverse City native and owner of Mental Wellness Counseling, will be featured speakers during Western Michigan University Traverse City Regional Location’s spring speakers series and open house on April 20, which is free and open to the public. In addition to the community discussion, individuals will have the opportunity to meet faculty and staff members and learn about opportunities for nontraditional students looking for career advancement, or professional development opportunities. Information will be available regarding programs at WMU-Traverse City and the nearly 350 online courses offered through WMU. Individuals are encouraged to rsvp at wmich.edu/springopenhouse. For those who attend and apply by May 4, WMU will pay their application fee.
