The Shroud of Turin: Is It Real?

What is the science behind our present understanding of it? Questions to be Addressed: 1. What are the Shroud of Turin, the head cloth (Sudarium), and the Veil of Veronica? 2. How is it that these relics have come down to us through 20-centuries? 3. Is the Shroud an elaborate medieval fake? 4. How can we understand why the carbon-14 dating done in the 1990’s is wrong? 5. Do we now understand how the image was made on the Shroud? 6. As we see it now, what are the chances the Shroud is really the burial cloth that covered Jesus Christ after the crucifixion and during his resurrection? 7.
