Featuring the Gypsy jazz styles of Django Reinhardt, Latin colors of tango, samba, and choro, and timeless American standards, the concert will be a first-time event for Northern Michigan.
Coming from Tuscany, Italy, the Festival’s first concert in North America, features Interlochen cellist Crispin Campbell; violinist and CLAZZ director, Matthew Pickart; Italian guitarist Michele Ramo; and Michigan bassist Jack Dryden.
The Clazz International Festival merges the styles of classical music and jazz, bringing the best of two worlds together with an all-star ensemble for an evening of vibrant rhythm and soulful melodies.
