“The Art and Artful Life of Renowned Michigan Artist David Barr”. Patty Pelizarri will present a lecture on the art and artful life of renowned Michigan artist David Barr; sculptor, writer, creator of global art projects and founder of the Michigan Legacy Art Park, June 2, 2016 at 7PM at the Betsie Valley District Library. The Art Park incorporates over 40 sculptures and poetry stones into its 30 acres of natural trails adjacent to Crystal Mountain. Patty Pelizarri is an educator, art historian, and is on the board of directors of Michigan Legacy Art Park and was a personal friend of David Barr.
