Star Party at the Betsie Valley District Library!

We welcome everyone to the Star Party at the Betsie Valley, Sept. 21, 2018, 7PM to 10PM. Bob Moler will present a Twilight Talk at 7:00PM about the Moon, it's phases, "the dark side", the harvest moon effect, eclipses, how the Moon got there and a look at its features, especially those visible that night. If weather permits, the GTAS will be setting up their telescopes to view Saturn, Mars, and the moon from 8PM—10PM. If the weather becomes inclement, we will try and reschedule the telescope observation on a future date. Library located at 14744 Thompson Ave., Thompsonville, MI 49683.
