Inventing the Future from an Inspiring Vision The Leadership Lunch Club Presents: Casey Cowell, Principal, Boomerang Catapult and Co-Founder, Former Chairman, and CEO of U.S. Robotics Corporation. TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. – On June 8, The Leadership Lunch Club gives Casey Cowell the podium for his presentation, “Inventing the Future.” He will share his knowledge and real-world examples of how leaders must navigate challenges and setbacks to achieve their visions. Cowell positioned himself as a leader in the technology industry when he started the multi-billion dollar company, U.S. Robotics Corporation (USR), in 1976 at the age of 23. Cowell served as the Chairman and CEO throughout USR's history—from a $200 post-college start-up to its reign as the world’s largest manufacturer of computer modems and related products. Throughout his career at USR and during his many ventures thereafter, Cowell gained powerful insights on innovation and leadership techniques. The June 8 event will take place at Traverse City Golf and Country Club. Doors open at 11 a.m., with the program beginning at 11:45 a.m. Event registration includes a catered lunch and giveaways of the featured book.
