Isabelle Swiderski will walk you three modules during this session:

Module 1: Framing the Problem
What problem is your business solving for your customers? Understanding this is crucial to building a successful business. This module will help you clearly define your problem statement to get clarity on the problem your customer is having, and how your business can help them solve it.

Module 2: Knowing your Users
In this module, we?ll dive into customer discovery. You will learn how to test assumptions by engaging with your customers (or potential customers) through interviews, create personas from those interviews, and use them to help you design a better product/service, save money, and make better business decisions.

Module 3: Business and Impact Models
How do we create, capture and deliver value for our customers? In this module, you?ll learn about different types of business models and impact models, and how impact can be integrated into your business structure and plan in order to deliver value to your customers. 

Outcomes of this session:

-Understand design thinking methodologies and how they can be applied to business design

-How to define and frame the problem your business is solving for customers

-Business and impact models and identifying your unique opportunity 

-Building engagement with your customers
