Event Description:
The 4th annual Great Lakes Environmental Festival (GLEF) is on March 22, 2025 (World Water Day) at Manistee Middle/High School from 9am-5:30pm. This free event features 4 films about indigenous people's efforts toward environmental health & sustainability including award-winning "Bad River". GLEF presenters include a keynote from EGLE, USDA, Manistee Conservation District, District 10 Public Health Department, and Rep. Curt VanderWall. Featured organizations include Traverse-City-based SEEDS and Ludington-Based AFFEW (A Few Friends for the Environment of the World). There is also an environmental EXPO.
