Misty Acres: The Borwell Preserve has an amazing diversity of natural habitats, and over 20 ferns and fern allies call this large protected area their home. To learn more about these interesting plants join Angie Lucas, staff botanist, for an introduction into the fascinating world offerns with tips on identification. This will be a slow paced hike on a one mile long hike along the nature trail (meet at the parking lot on the north side of County Line Road) at Misty Acres, and please come prepared for outdoor weather conditions (rain or shine).
