Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, & Generation Z: How can you increase productivity and create a corporate culture that works for you?
 
Crystal Young, Director of the Business Opportunity Center at West Shore Community College will be presenting information on "Generations in the Workplace".
 
During this first session, Crystal will guide you to uncover the characteristics of interpersonal communications including perception, speech, language, non-verbal behaviors, listening, and feedback through the generations and diversity found in the workplace.
 
The second session will tackle the issue of cybersecurity. What is it & the Importance it plays in the operation of your business.
 
Scott Taber, Michigan SBDC Cybersecurity Awareness Program Specialist will lead you in learning more about the general concepts of cybersecurity, while also offering information for those looking to refresh what they already know.
 
You will leave the session with:
 
  • A general understanding of important cybersecurity concepts
  • Explanations as to why these topics matter for your business
  • Top 3 steps you can implement in your business operations
